Photos and video are taken during club events which may be posted to: online galleries controlled by the club; the club website and; the club's social media pages. This is done to promote the club, club events (past, present and future) and for the enjoyment of participants, family and friends. Images and video may also be provided to mainstream media publications and web sites to promote the club's events and activities. Adult members have a right to vote on club issues and nominate to be part of the committee. Albany Boardriders (Inc) is an active club, membership fees are set at a rate that reflects that all members will regularly volunteer at club events and functions and to assist with the operation of the club. Members are invited to take part of club events, competitions and activities.

The Albany Boardriders membership year is from 1st January 2024 to 31st December 2024. Previously it went from Senior Wavefest to Senior Wavefest but this has recently changed to align with Surfing WA and Surfing Australia membership periods.

All new / renewed memberships will be valid from 1st January 2024 to 31st December 2024.
